I was reading several articles about this, and I found it to be very disturbing, so I thought I should share this with others who might not know what their dogs are really eating... >o.o<

EDIT: And here is a small list of foods that I would NEVER feed to a dog:

[/b]- Because it lacks anything nutritious, contains corn, and meat & bone meal (which could be from ANY animal), and is made by Wal-mart
Alpo - Because it has tons of corn, by-products, and animal fat (which could be from ANYWHERE), and contains BHA
Pedigree - Because it has tons of corn, by-products, and animal fat/meat & bone meal (which could be from ANYWHERE), and contains BHA
Purina - Because it contains corn and by-products
Moist n' Meaty - Because it contains a crapload of sugar and unnatural preservatives like ethoxyquin. Could make a dog diabetic over a period of time.[/ul]

oh my gosh! I wish I read this earlier, this year for school we had to do speeches, and I did mine on what's really in dog food, yet I never saw any of those pages > about dogs in pet food

My dog, (Frosty <3) is also epileptic, presumably because of either inbreeding, preservatives and stuff in pet food, or both. We keep her on this high quality dehydrated pet food now

Well, aren't we just 'hearing' that dogs are put in dog food, here? ;D

I believe what I'm told. Can be seen as good or bad. But I know for sure that Iams test their food products on animals and stuff, because it even says so on their website.

The ASPCA has done a bunch of surprise visits to the IAMS laboratories and have found nothing to prove the IAMS mistreats their animals. But it still doesn't keep their food from sucking lmfao... >^^;<

PETA is who I think originally said that IAMS abuses their test animals. They tend to exaggerate things X 100 if you know what I mean lmao... Never trust what PETA says until you go by other sources first.

Anyway, I don't like IAMS much anyway because their food contains corn, by-products, and possibly a few other things that suck... I'd have to look at my chart to be sure of what else, but I'm at work right now lol...

That is horrible!Eww!Just blah!(kinda off topic)----> Theres a game "Dogs Life" which is kinda like that exept they are turning dogs into cat food 0_oThats sick...i dont have a dog though

I have that game lol... But yeah, they go into both cat and dog food IRL if you're not careful which one you buy lol...
