Here are some starter rules:
- No spamming. This includes double-posting, making nonsense posts, using 1,000 smilies, or posting in the wrong forum.
- Hateful threads towards other forum members will be deleted without warning.
- Absolutely no BMP images allowed! It kills my bandwidth, which I pay for. PNG images are okay, but only if it's absolutely necessary. And while we're on this subject...
- Please keep your images at a sensible size! No bigger than 600 wide X 500 high (This does not include signatures and avatars). If the mods or I find images bigger than this on the forum, we will first ask you to resize it, and if you don't comply, we will remove it for you. >^_~<
- Don't make rediculously huge signature images, and especially not as BMPs. If your signature image messes up the tables on threads, I'll ask you to resize it. If it's a BMP, I'll ask you to convert it to GIF or JPG (preferably GIF). If you don't comply, I'll remove it for you.
- No multiple accounts. If you want a new username, change it on your original account. Multiple accounts will be removed without warning, and then if the same person is caught doing it, all their accounts will be removed.
- If a member is misbehaving, PM me, don't take matters into your own hands unless you are a mod.
- No excessive use of foul language. There are 10-year-olds visiting this thing.
- No hotlinking images or files from sites other than your own. Bandwidth stealing is illegal.
- Do NOT mass-email chain letters to members of this forum. And if you are a victim of this, report it to me.
- Threads that reach 5 pages will be locked, but feel free to start a new thread about that topic! >^_^<.
- Any member found to be abusing the Karma feature (smiting the crap out of people for no apparent reason) will be punished. Admins and mods CAN see who smites and exalts who. So keep this in mind please.
