My Petz 5 won't work

When I try to reinstall the monster it just randomly stops at 40 for dogz 30 for catz and shuts off! Got any suggestions because I have tryed it with 2 computers.....
And it ticks me off.... I'm thinking about buying a new pair for really cheap because these copies are all scrached up.... maybe thats why they stop instalation?

Scratches can lead to the game not working. It's happened to me before also. So, I bought a new one. That's all I can think of...if they don't work on either of your computers.

Blerg just tryed installing the thing after I cleaned it and stuffs *just now* and it got to about 90% and... it stopped working.... screw it im gonna ask my friend if she can copy me her petz 5 4 and 3... call it a really early b-day gift? ;D

Alwats take good care of your CDs. It can prevent stuff like this from happening.

Also, do you have any petz in the game when you try to turn it on?

Nope, it wasn't even installed because my computer crashed because of a virus and when I went to install it after my comp was fixed it just did that..... I had a HUGE archive of petz in varius folders tho...And now my computer has crashed AGAIN im useing my Gramee's comp because she never uses it... Anywho I'm sick at the moment so sorry if that really wasn't what you ment.
*Gets out the disk cleaning solution again*

Ami, cleaning solutions can't fix scratches...your best bet would be to try and buy new copies. Or I can make a copy of mine and see if I can mail it to you?

new copies =*EXPENSIVE* and I can't find copies of petz 4 or 3 anywere.... also BAK my mom said yes to the mailing thing as long as they show up.... also do you have petz 4 and 3? and if its not too much trouble could you burn those for me too? I'll e-mail you shortly with my address...

No, sadly I don't have the older versions anymore. And it may be a while before I can get the games out.

You might wanna test it before you send it then. I've tried copying Petz 5 several times it it's got some sort of copy protection... >X.x;<

Hey that happend to my friend once if it like pops up this thing saying something i can't remember but if it say to like type something in or its missing something than what you need to do is go to your control panel and click add or remove programs then click install or click or go to add new programs it depend on your comp than click on cd or floppy (your petz needs to be in for this ok you click next a it will search your cd than the thing thats in the little space copy it than go to install your petz when that pops up put that in it if this is not the problem than sry that all i know what to do.

Um, www.amazon.com has 3, I think, 4, and 5. They're not ver expenxive if I can remeber. Or you could just buy one at the moment, like petz 5, cause Amazon has the two comeing together, and save up for the others.

Yeah. I shall try that. And this game shouldn't have the copy protection. I bought it from a school function. It's Dog5/Catz5 combined.
