MORE PROBLEMS!

YEP! Even MORE problems with my games! I got Petz 4 today and I was all giddy and I install it everything is fine... but then... when I tryed to adopt a pet... well lets just say it would NOT let me do it and it would freez up. So then I just adopt the dog with the name thinking well I can just rename it! But then I go to a play scene and I try to take him out... it froze up again... and it kept doing this anytime I tryed to take my pet out... any ideas as to what the h*** happend?

Have you by any chance got Windows XP? Because I dont think it's compatable(sp?) with XP >.<

*twitches* nah this is an ME but it is a windows 2000 so that pretty much sucks.... oh well once I get my own comp back im gonna turn it into a windows 98.... it was originally an me but a friend turned it into an xp... so it could be turned into a 95 or 98 too...

Go to www.petz.com and download and install the Petz 4.2 patch. This patch makes Petz 4 compatible with 2000 and XP. It should fix your problem.

If that dosn't work go to genreal options and turn off the sound.

Yeah, that happened to me... a little while afterwards, I was able to turn the sound back on and it worked fine. Then I had to reinstall, and the patch works great, too! So, yeah!

Oh and anyone who is wondering: If you for some reason can't get the patch for Petz 5 on XP (If that patch even exists) just play on the administrative user on your CP (usually called Admin) it seems to help with freezing etc... thats at least what happened with me but I have Vista now ahhhhh so much better! Nobody really had the option of Vista in 06 did they?
