Well I've only told a few people because I wanted to be absolutely sure I was getting him before I let everyone else know. But now that I've found a suitable home that can not only accomodate my current dog better but be better-suited for a puppy (and passed the credit check to get in!), it's official. I'm getting a puppy. >^^;<
So anyway, I was introduced to a breeder/shower of Pembroke Welsh Corgis in Canada. She is a friend of my friend Lisa and Lisa mentioned one day suddenly that her friend's Champion Pembie finally had her last litter of puppies. Several show homes had already been picked out for the show-quality ones, but she also had 3 pet quality pups (two fluffies and a regular one). I snagged one of the fluffies. I'll get him at 12 weeks (he's about 7.5 now). I'm still trying to pick out a good food since he can't eat Eevee's low cal stuff. I'm torn between several. I'll probbaly grab a few different toys at first and see what kinds he likes before I go out and get a whole lot (no stuffed animals, those are forbidden!). I'll be crate-training him (and, conventiently, the breeder is already beginning the crate training before the puppies go to their homes). I'll be splitting my shift at work in half so I can run home and let the puppy out. I'm bed window shopping for collars/leashes/beds although I don't think he'll have his own non-crate bed till he's fully potty-trained. >^_^<
I'm going to look around my area for a set of good puppy classes, and his basic training will start on day 1. The breeder says he's a more dominant puppy so he might be more of a handful than Eevee was lol...
Wow... I'm just so excited my head is spinning and I probably left out a lot because I'm pretty speachless still lmao...

He gets sexier every day. >^_^< I'm so excited. I've been wanting a second dog for about 4 years now and now I've finally found one and am in the right situation.
